Is your website down?

Is your website down? Here are a few ideas on what to do if your website is down.

  • Just put in the wrong password a few times? - If you put your password in wrongly a few times please see the article firewall
  • Have you recently checked the status page? - Check the status page as your website may be down due to scheduled maintenance or an unscheduled outage. If it's a server-wide issue it should show up on the Jumba status page.
  • Is your internet connected properly? - Are you able to browse other websites? If not you should contact your ISP.
  • Can your friends see it? If so you may have been blocked at the firewall, your internet may be down, or you may have an incorrect entry in your Hosts file.
  • Name Servers - So often are name servers incorrectly setup that websites won't display correctly. To check your name servers, do a whois of the domain to see where it's pointing. If you have hosting provided with Jumba, the name servers should point to ns1/ns2.jumba.net.au. If they aren't set to that, login to your Domain management control panel and set them up.
