operating systems
What's your thoughts with the direction of solaris, bsd etc. How are they related to common operating systems and web use?
- I thought if we're adding a list of operating systems, we may as well list the ones in use, not just the more popular ones and just throw some underneath the carpet. It's probably more than we need, in fact, is there really any reason why we need a list of operating systems?
- the specific reason was to list essentially windows/mac to explain quite simply that XP was released in 2000 (over 6 years ago) around the same time Mac released OSX which basically says there's no need to write cote or make checks for systems older than this because it's too far back. It was just a nice way of presenting it in a timeline. I think Win and Mac are relevant, but I commented out the others as it seemed a lot less relevant. The main reason also was to discuss a fe wissues with older mac versions that don't deal with web-based html editors as well (that was a minor direction)

If there was a competition for most unintentional typos and spelling/grammer errors I reckon I've already won before it starts, so we'll have to arrange the awards ceremony. :) Aussiepete

- No, not really. I had clearly said right below his name that anyone that adds their name without permission may receive a ban. So he did. Simple as that. 1 day also is not very long.
JumbaCMS discussion
I've added some notes on the jumbacms discussion page. I think features should be discussed and voted on if important enough. I think there needs to be a definition for wishlist and actual feature requesat list. The issue is that if every wish under the sun was met, the cms would be just like every other system and be overly complicated. Aussiepete
