From JumbaWiki
Hey, I've made you a beaurecrat - I think that's equivalent to Moderator, right?
Considering the fantastic work you've done on the wiki, I'd say that's fair :D

No probs!
No probs - I'm learning this whole wiki thing - other than a few contributions to wikipedia over the last few years, I haven't really done too much :DTom
Hello
Hello to you too :) tk16
By the way, how do you get the JumbaWiki edit count?
And again; how do you post the time and date for when you are adding a comment to a discussion page? tk16
Copying from wikipedia
Yeah, it should be ok to just copy mabe a few lines from wikipedia, but the CSS article is just stupid with all that information been copied. I agree with linking to the wikipedia article. tk16
G'day from Rabbie!
Dude! I love your work haha. you are raping this wiki!
You should put up something like a "howto make this wiki awesome using the code that I use cause i know heaps about wiki's"! :D
Stay on-topic
Hi Pete,
It seems that you're starting to get a bit carried away there. This is a hosting wiki, not a IT-related encyclopedia. Things like ActionScript aren't related to Jumba hosting. Maybe stop while you're ahead perhaps.

- What about people creating flash animations, need to read up on actionscript?
- yes, yes I'm getting a bit carried away. I need to tone it down a bit. But I would say it's a hosting wiki and also voip/broadband and other jumba services. One main area of hosting is setting up a website in the first place which is why I think some of the adobe packages are worth a mention, at least for code snippets and direction for creating graphics/pages/code/animation etc. Also, the forums cover a range of completely un-related areas. Maybe these unrelated topics or articles on huge tangents away from hosting specifically can be part of a secondary community or general interest area rather than from the hosting wiki mainframe. Any thoughts? Aussiepete
- What are your thoughts on the direction of article content. Your comment about keeping on track is valid - I'm wondering what you think the boundaries of the wiki should be. I think it's OK to have some general web design and development tips but also think it would be ok to follow suit with the forums with categories such as Coding, web applications, linux, and general discussion. Good work.
Hey Pete,
Thanks for the welcome. Excellent job so far, keep up the good work. :) Lukas
Thanks from Kev
Hi Pete - thanks for cleaning up my entry - it was an eye opener to see the difference you made.
Cheers.
- Not a problem, I'm not necessarily right with edits, but the cleanup just makes all the article inter link and have a consistency.
Case Sensitivity
I'll have a look into it tonight - gotta run now tho :D Tom 11:55, 22 July 2006 (EST)
- no probs Aussiepete
- Right - I had a quick look into this, and it seems that there is no case-insensitivity built into the wiki. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to code in, but... hmmm.
Note that it was just a quick look on the mediawiki wiki ;) Tom 12:11, 28 July 2006 (EST)

Javascript snippets
Yeah they are fine, probably saving it from being alot les cluttered if there are more.
However, JavaScript Basics looks a bit busy and overcrouded and seems alot like javascript snippets at the moment. Maybe you want to divide it into sections? Tk16 23:16, 22 July 2006 (EST)
The name info?
Adam just told me on MSN after I asked him, so I thought I may as well add it. Quite interesting I thought.
Couple of questions..
Hi, Thanks for the welcome
Edited this post as you've answered my post on the forums..Thanks,
Dan
Thanks for nice greeting
G'day Well, do I feel like a real "noob" or what?? First time in a Wiki, and everything seems foreign and the normal things I sort of expect to find are not easy to see/work out.
Oh Well - I am sure it will all seem familiar pretty soon.
Glad to help with the link - I'd just been looking at them and next thing I see was it wasn't on the wiki.
Have a good day! Cheers PeteH
