Glossary of terms and terminology (resolved)

Under 403, 404 errors etc can we change "client error" to "browser error" or something else - otherwise most users think you are blaming them (they are the client)! --Twz 15:31, 28 May 2007 (EST)

I agree, although "client" is the actual technical term which essentially means "browser". Maybe it could be called client (browser) error, otherwise I'm fine with either :) These changes should also be reflected in the Error pages and List of error pages articles (which I think should be merged, they duplicate redundant info. Maybe "web client"?

Title disambiguation (resolved)

There is also confusion between Error pages and List of error pages. Maybe the first should be renamed "Error Pages (cPanel)" which discusses how to create the pages, and a more general "Error pages" from the surfer's point of view - what it means when an error page comes up in their browser. --Twz 16:03, 28 May 2007 (EST)

I think Error pages should be moved to Error pages (cPanel) as is is explicitly talking about that option, then List of error pages can be a little more extensive as a general guide without needing to merge the articles. I agree. Aussiepete 16:12, 28 May 2007 (EST)

I've gone ahead and made this change and removed the merge tags, I think that was a good idea. Any further discussion or ideas feel free to mention for further discussion. Aussiepete 16:17, 28 May 2007 (EST)

Info under the heading =Customised Error Pages for Multiple Domains= should be in the Htaccess article --Twz 23:46, 5 July 2007 (EST)
