Welcome to Jumba!

So you've signed up for hosting... now what?

Uploading

Well, obviously first thing to do is to upload your web page!

You can access your site via FTP at ftp://yoursite.com.

If you log in there, you'll see a number of folders - the one we want is the public_html folder, which is where the files that people see when the visit your website sit.

In this folder there are a number of files and folders that are already set up.

  _vti_bin
  _vti_cnf
  _vti_log
  _vti_pvt
  _vti_txt
  cgi-bin
  images
  .htaccess
  _vti_inf.html
  postinfo.html

What in the world are those _vti_ folders?!

Short answer - they're there for Front Page extensions, you don't need to worry about them.

Now the contents of this folder are yours - don't be afraid to delete any or all of these folders or files, but don't be surprised if they decide to randomly reappear (for example, the .htaccess file will just reappear if you delete it - it's a security thing).

So if you upload your files here, and you're set to go! Just navigate to your domain (Remember - if you've JUST set up your website, it may take up to a 24-48 hours for your domain to be viewable - this depends on your ISP.
