FrontPage Extensions

Jump to: navigation, search
FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) are server-side scripts that that extend the functionality of FrontPage and allow FrontPage clients to communicate with web servers. These extensions support features such as hit counters, data collection, e-mail processing, and database processing.

No longer supported

Frequent security problems have marked the history of this Microsoft proprietary technology, and it can also adversely affect other software running on the server. For these reasons (and others), Jumba has decided (June 2007) that they would no longer support FrontPage Server Extensions on their hosting servers.

However you can still use FrontPage to design your web site.
