Page renaming
Should eventually these pages each be renamed to have '(cPanel)' on the end of the page name as per recent moves? It may look a little strange on this page but it would mean the expected contents are slightly less ambiguous when linked from other articles, especially in the See Also lists (such as 'Virus Scan' vs 'Virus Scan (cPanel)') --Scott T 20:28, 27 June 2007 (EST)

- This is where we need to label articles with disambiguation. If a title shares the same name, further detail is given. If there's no article sharing the name, the extra detail isn't necessary (although looks good for consistency). A disambiguation page lists the conflicting titles (in this case Virus_Scan would redirect to Virus_Scan_(disambiguation) which would list Virus_Scan_(application) and Virus Scan_(cPanel) or whatever. - Another policy option :P I guess it would come down to personal choice as I have seen wiki's that would make this disambiguation from the start. Using the virus scan example, 'Virus Scan' would redirect to 'Virus Scan (cPanel)' until something like 'Virus Scan (application)' was created and the disambiguation actually needed. --Scott T 21:06, 27 June 2007 (EST)
- Yes that is valid also, in the case of Jumba Wiki, there generally isn't 3 or more disambiguation articles usually only 2. In this case, the article redirects to the the most commonly expected article wit ha notice linking to the other. If both articles are as important as each other, a disambiguation article might be needed, otherwise not. Aussiepete 21:08, 27 June 2007 (EST)
