About JDSL

Jumba's broadband network is brand new and is completely seperate to our hosting networks in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.

We operate two PoP's (Points of Presence), one from Sydney and one from Melbourne. Each PoP has a CISCO 7204 core router running full BGP4 and links to Optus, PowerTel and PIPE Networks. We also have a 50Mbps transit link being commissioned this month which links the Sydney and Melbourne core routers.

We also have the added benefit of being able to route data to our premium Canberra hosting network if there is upstream congestion or outages which gives us access to Agile, Verizon Business and AAPT.

Our Sydney PoP handles customers from NSW, QLD and ACT, while the Melbourne PoP handles customers from VIC, TAS, SA and NT. We are currently not servicing WA as there is no benefit to WA customers who would have high latency.

We will be offering DSL1 products using Telstra's ADSL network, but we will soon be providing ADSL2+ on any Optus enabled exchange.
